Clover & Hive Chart

This chart is created to work with Rod & Staff Gr. 2 Math specifically, but can be used with other curriculum as well. Use the hives with the corresponding bees to teach the Triplets. The clover patch is a visual for learning the actual facts. Example: “If there are il bees on the clover but 5 of them fly away, how many are left? 11-5=6” or “If there are 2 bees in the clover patch and 9 more come to the patch, how many are there all together? 2+9=11” The clover patch can double as a visual tool to learn 10+_. Each set has 10 brightly coloured clovers and then 1 or more lighter shade clovers. Example: “If there are 10 bright clovers and 3 shaded ones, how many all together? 10+3=13”
